FUNERAL EXPENSES EXPLAINED

Funeral fees are often considered to be expensive although when you consider that we are here to provide you with a seven day a week service, 24 hours a day, expensive vehicles to transport the family to the funeral in comfort, and the equipment needed to enable the funeral to proceed, prices then become quite reasonable.

Our complete service includes the hearse to transport the deceased to the place of the funeral service and limousine for family members if desired. All necessary staff and ensuring that all administration and documentation is in order for the funeral to take place,collection from any address locally, a coffin designed to suit requirements of the family,
viewing of loved ones in our chapels of rest and the service of fully trained and licensed funeral directors, before during and after the funeral.

It is not our policy to impose urgency or apply undue pressure on you or your family.It is important for many people to reflect the personality and character of the deceased within the arrangements and this often requires time to do so.

Our standard professional charges include:

Provision of the Funeral Director’s services.

Attending to all the necessary arrangements.

Completion of all legal paperwork.

Provision of the necessary staff.

Transfer of the deceased from the place of death.

Use of the Chapel of Rest.

Care and preparation of the deceased prior to the funeral.

DISBURSEMENTS

Are fees paid on behalf of the client; such as crematoria or cemeteries, clergy, doctors, newspapers, gravediggers, florists, caterers, printers, organists, plus any other service a client may require.

Disbursement charges are not controlled by the funeral director.

Direct Cremation Package

Offers the following.

Provision of the Funeral Director’s services.

Attending to all the necessary arrangements.

Provision of the necessary staff.

Provision of a coffin suitable for the purpose of cremation.

Transfer of the deceased from the place of death (at least ten running miles allowed) in normal working hours

Care of the deceased prior to the cremation.

Provision of a private ambulance to the nearest crematorium at a time to suit the funeral Service.
